Whatever happens, it will be difficult to match Sting's karma.
How do you heat your home, Occam?

He doesn't heat with anything. He is running his air conditioning at full blast with the windows and doors open standing outside with a little glass thermometer and a

You people are hilarious, you must be the funniest students in your class. As much as I enjoy your attempts at humour, why don't you let the adults have their thread and go play somewhere else, grown-up talk just bores you anyway.

This coming from someone who repeatedly dodges the question about his personal choice of heating preference. Hmmm, the purpose of this forum is?? Oh yea Science.

Occam, why don't you man up and answer the question. I spent hours yesterday reading through anything you were a part of just because I wasn't in the mood to work. It was amazing. You seem to have all this knowledge however you can't take a simple trip to the basement or wherever the heat in your house originates from and look to see what you:

A. dump in
B. grab another piece from the wheelbarrow and shove inside
C. call your local propane/oil company, take out a loan from your local Credit Union and get refilled (take your pick)
D. receive a bill in the mail, hold your breath while you open it as if you have won the lottery however it is the complete opposite. Damn last month it was only $390 why did it jump up to $500 this month? And they jacked the price up because it just so happened to be cold as hell this year...
E. Shove a long pipe in the ground because someone said it was real hot down there and collect steam

For your information I was the second funniest person in my 6th grade class. Tommy Mallow was the funnest by far. He's a scientist now too.

Answer the question. Everyone is just on pins and needles to know more about you.

It's really not relevant. There is no requirement that you install a corn burner to contribute to this forum, unless I missed something in the fine print. Kudos to JA for hosting an open forum that all can submit to!!

Weather Extremes Are Growing Trend in Northern Australia, Corals Show

ScienceDaily (Feb. 8, 2011) — The extreme rain events that have caused flooding across northern Australia may become an increasingly familiar occurrence, new research suggests. The study uses the growth patterns in near-shore corals to determine which summers brought more rain than others, creating a centuries-long rainfall record for northern Australia.

Speaking of weather extremes, is there anybody from Oklahoma that wants to make a comment? (Coldest weather ever on record this morning!)
Countryside 3500P (pedestal version) used 10 yrs, 24/7 during days requiring heat. All original motors. Burns moldy corn, and pellets equally well. Burn it if you got it.

We got 15 inches of snow blown into 4 foot drifts from last week's "rare event".

And Sting, you seem to be second (at the moment) in the race to the bottom. The pet clown, from his mom's basement, is crushing you with his negative Karma collecting ability.

my oh my.....the key words above are "may and suggests" it means nothing, it only means that someone with alot of intellect is wasting that intellect on some meaningless data that we can't do a think about anyway........what I want to know is why aren't they out there using that gift they have doing something that really benefits mankind, like find a cure for cancer, or figuring out a new cheap energy source or maybe (I know there are those on this board that will like this one) fixing social security, now that would be something.
